MVP Award
Description
The SAHBA Member MVP recognizes an individual at any SAHBA member company that demonstrates a high level of performance and an ongoing commitment to their employing company. The MVP will be an individual that has made a key impact on the member company.
This award offers member companies the opportunity to publicly acknowledge their outstanding achievers without restriction to the department or role of the individual in the organization.
Each MVP will be acknowledged during the Denim & Diamonds awards ceremony and receive a certificate of their accomplishments
Community of the Year
Description
This award recognizes a recently opened community that required a significant amount of time and Builder expertise to bring through the entitlement process, overcome site challenges and integrate into the surrounding community. Home design and product offerings in this Community are relevant and well-conceived for the targeted buyer. Sales success at the winning Community is used to gauge how the community is received by the consumer.
Developer of the Year
Custom Builder of the Year
Description
The Custom Builder of the Year award is presented to a SAHBA home builder who leads a successful custom home building company with professionalism and integrity. The custom build process is multi-faceted and requires a high degree of problem solving and cooperation with architects, trade contractors and other professionals. The winner of this award demonstrates all of these attributes to produce that home which meets the ideal and unique needs of a specific home buyer.
Requirements
SAHBA Participation: 50%, Project Evaluation: 30%, Reputation and Community Involvement: 20%.
Builder of the Year (High Volume)
Description
This award is presented to a Tucson home builder who represents the best in production home building and creates varied opportunities for home buyers to realize their vision of the American Dream of home ownership.
The award winner also demonstrates a commitment to supporting SAHBA with leadership, time, talent and participation in SAHBA programs and events, recognizing SAHBA's role in creating an environment where the home building industry can enjoy greater success.

Reputation, Company Successes, Community Involvement, Etc. = 25%. SAHBA Participation (provided by SAHBA) = 75%
